Are Jetting Tools worth the Investment?

Jetting tools, worth the investment?
If you are looking around our website and considering a jetter or tool purchase, you have probably asked yourself “is this really worth it”? Perhaps you have price checked equipment or some of the high end jetting tools that are on the market and wonder the same thing. Like any good investment you consider for your business it has to have a return. So what return do you expect from jetting? Here are a few things we’ve heard from happy JETTERS NORTHWEST customers about the returns they expected and realized from their investment in jetting.
Making Money: This one probably seems obvious… of course our investments should provide a financial return. But let’s not glaze over this one too quickly. It doesn’t matter if you are replacing toilet flappers or jetting, you have to sell your jobs. If you are confident in your ability to sell and perform a service and have a strategy, you will make money. The businesses I’ve dealt with that didn’t exceed their own expectations for jetting income were the ones that didn’t have a plan. If done correctly, Jetting service has the potential to be the most profitable part of your business. Many of our customers have reported paying back their investment in days, weeks, or months.
Play Defense:  Customers are getting savvy to jetting and will request it. The internet has provided the average consumer with the ability not just to find a service provider, but also the information to know what service is best for the problem they are having. Providing jetting is a good way to keep customers, like property managers and facility maintenance departments, from looking for (and finding) other vendors.
Avoiding Lost Time: Second only to downtime from equipment breakdowns, leaving a job unsuccessful is expensive! The wasted time and damage from loss of customer confidence can’t be recovered. Jetting with the right tools will get jobs done that other methods can’t. Your jetting equipment can even fail to perform tough jobs if you have invested in undersized equipment or haven’t added the right tools to your kit.
Diversification: Business segments can ebb and flow, perhaps you have steady repair business but remodeling and new construction are slow. Maybe you find yourself referring out work to other companies while your employees are not staying busy. A diversified (but not fragmented) business is on a stronger foundation.
We consider ourselves to be service providers, not just salesmen. I celebrate my customers’ success, and enjoy hearing from customers who are seeing returns from jetting. Hopefully through our service and support we can be part of your company’s success also. Happy Jetting!

The Brute 150 Affordable Trailer Jetter

When we designed this new compact affordable trailer jetter we had 3 goals in mind. First, anything we put the Jetters Northwest name on has to be tough, reliable, and easy to use. We say we make "The toughest Jetters Available" and we mean it! Second it was made to be a good value. Using our most popular flow/pressure combination from our Big Brute Carts, (9 GPM and 4000 PSI) it has loads of power for cleaning up to 8 inch pipe, and running specialty tools like the Warthog and Turbo chain cutter. Perfect for the residential plumber, drain cleaner, or someone just entering the drain cleaning business, all at a starting price under $10,000. Third, it hasn't escaped our attention that we are in the great northwest... and while we love it here it's expensive to ship trailers to those of you who love the other end of the country. This affordable trailer jetter is designed with a removable tongue and can be pallet shipped anywhere for about 1/3 the cost of shipping a larger trailer jetter. More of your money goes into the jetter and less into just getting it there.

If you are looking for a more fully-featured unit the Brute 150 is available with optional 12 Volt reel rewind and an anti-freeze/protection package, and works with standard accessories like our portable hose reels and mini hoses. The Brute 150 comes complete with 150 Gallon water tank, 12 Volt electric start Subaru air-cooled engine, low-RPM gearbox drive "Super-Duty" Pump, Large Storage Bin, Heavy-Duty hand rewind reel, 4 piece nozzle kit, nozzle extension, and orifice cleaner. All of the Jetting controls for flow on/off, pressure adjustment and Pulsation are conveniently located near the jetting reel allowing all functions to be easily performed by the operator.

Bottom line, the Brute 150 is a entry-level trailer jetter that is Jetters Northwest Tough and is at home in the fleet of any drain cleaning company. Even if you own larger equipment like the Eagle 300 this compact trailer jetter will find a valuable place in your business as backup or a secondary trailer jetter. The Brute 150 is available to ship to your business and can be customized with a painted deck or by adding on any of our upgrades to the trailer.
